First Day with kids!

We had our first half day with the kids today. Our group of kids seems to be pretty well. I know a few of the kids from their parents, which is neat.

I had my first day at the school last Thursday. People keep asking me if Iam nervous, but I have been so excited it has been hard to get nervous. I'll be back soon!

Summer is Closing!

I finished both of my music lesson plans today for Sharon Porter's class. I thought they both turned out not bad. I also took quiz #1 for Allen's class and got 15/15. I was stoked about that, I wasn't sure if I got them all right.

Got a call today from my friend Andy Lee and he told me he just got engaged to his girlfriend Katie. He asked me to be one of his groomsmen, and of course I said yes. He said the wedding will be next June.

It's wedding central because I have two other friends that are getting married this weekend at the top of the golf course. Should be pretty cool.

My uncle is also coming to town this weekend which should be a blast.

Who turned up the Heat?

My dog, Asha, keeps making loops over to the ditch dunking herself in the water every hour. Then back under the deck she heads. At least she has that luxury.

Looks like we won't break this heat until sometime Thursday. Find Water!

Feed the Fish! They are hungry.

Don't let the fish die

I am interested to hear more about the research project next week. I have not been able to come up with a concrete idea on my own yet. Should be interesting to see what the drumming class is like later today. I should run into my mentor teacher this weekend at the golf course and I am excited to talk to him about what we have done in class these last couple of weeks.

On a side note, I get to play in a night golf tournament this Saturday night. I have played in this tournament quite a few times and it is a blast. Glowing golf balls flying through the air is quite the site to see. Makes putting pretty interesting. The real fun is seeing the competition to see who can bring the biggest flash light to use for the tournament. If I get a picture I will post it later.
